About Us
We are a team of 35 dedicated internal audit, IS assurance, fraud and security specialists providing services to clients from the Humber in the South to the Tweed in the North and the Eden to the West. Our heritage is from the NHS, which remains a key focus for our services. But our team members have years of experience throughout the public and not for profit sectors, spanning:
• Local and regional government;
• Central government departments and non-departmental public bodies;
• Education (schools, higher and further education);
• Housing; and
• Public-private partnerships. Our staff have a wide variety of qualifications, reflecting their diverse backgrounds, including:
• CIPFA
• ACA
• ACCA
• IIA
• CISA
• CISSP
• ISO 27000 Lead Auditor;
• PRINCE 2; and
• Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist.
Our IS Assurance and Fraud and Security teams are among the largest of any public sector providers in the North of England and both have extensive hands-on experience of their subject matter, having worked in areas such as:
• IT service management
• Network management and administration
• Information Security
• Proactive counter fraud services;
• The police force; and
• Anti-fraud teams within a major bank.
We invest in a wide network of partnerships to develop our capability and provide our clients with access to a full range of specialist skills at value for money prices. These include a ‘Big Four’ firm, the Good Governance Institute and a specialist training provider. Our vision is to use our skills for the maximum benefit of the NHS and the public sector in our region, providing a range of services, in support of in-house teams where they exist, at cost effective not-for-profit rates.
